Will Newly Invented Intel Blockscale Technology proven to be Energy-Efficient Blockchain Hashing
The “Intel Blockscale ASIC” chip claims to be efficiency up to 26 J/TH, which would precedence over most Bitmain and MicroBT models available in the mining industry
Intel Blockscale ASIC will be more energy efficient mining rigs than most models available in rig industry. Each of the chips will have a hashrate of up to 580 gigahash per second (GH/s) and power efficiency of 26 joules/terahash (J/TH), according to Intel's statement.
Intel explained the details of the first generation of its mining chip at a semiconductor conference. Specifications of the chip, called “Bonanza Mine,” were below top of the line machines of Intel's competitor. At the time, analysts at GlobalBlock said that it would increase mining efficiency and help institutional investors to take part in adoption of bitcoin.
There had been a lot of debate in the recent past about crypto mining. In march, the Environmental Conservation Committee of the New York State Assembly voted to move along a proposed law that would ban proof-of-work (PoW) cryptocurrency mining in the state for two years. Even some companies have been scrutinized for cypto mining, which would lead to global warming or create energy crisis in the world.
Intel’s ASIC can be used in a variety of system designs and environments. It will help our environment air-cooled or immersion-cooled.
